12 hours with NO procrastination.

Twelve hours straight!

When you think about it, its only 3 hours per module,
then breaking down into minutes of:-
a. Minutes to the kitchen
b. Excuses to the loo
c. Minutes for mental preparation before u start
d. The Bed temptation
e. Minutes re-reading your journal, or redoing stata
f. Seconds sipping freshly brewed coffee
g. Figuring out which colour pen and highlighter to use
h. The minutes figuring out where you old notes are

I guess, this just sums down to an hours worth of proper concentration?
Well Val,
Keep yourself motivated, the fire is there. I've always thought of you as my role model.
Yea, I'm thinking wth, but truth of the matter is.
You're stronger than you think you are.
Sure you made a few mistakes, but I guess mistakes are what's guiding us to betterment.

I'm gonna attempt a 12 hour study marathon on Sunday. (tmr)

Hope it'd be a boring one.
And wake up on Monday as Miss Panda.

Fingers crossed
Good Luck

p.s. STATA! jia you :) muaks xxx

A dedication.

Take me, this is all that I've got,
This is all I can be.

I'm not sure if thats what I wanna be.

Did I say something stupid,
there goes one more mistake.

I love you.

(I still prefer Didi Benami's version live)
Song's called The way I am.

The taste of my tears

You know one thing about me? I cry in silence.
If you ever see my cry in your face, its cause I let you.
Somehow the weakest moment felt as if my strongest moment.

When I cry,
I take a few steps back and then curl up in a little ball.
Or I would hid my ugly red nosed expression from the people near me.
I would run far far away, and perhaps go to a coffee shop.

I'd order warm honey sea coconut from the aunty.
Then tell her my parents are nearby, when they weren't.
So she won't worry.
I would find a place to sit and wonder.

Whether on the rooftop overlooking the wonderful city (or carpark in my case).
Or on top of a very high shelf, about two stories high.
Then I'd sit and wonder, wondering about how special I am.
How incredibly blessed I am. How grateful I should be instead of sulking.

Sometimes its like a little wake up call. A wake up call I wouldn't even have gotten, if I have thought of strategizing my plans with precision.

Nevertheless, thank you.

(I will stop wondering for now)

A sudden move nearby, why?

I received a phonecall at 5.15am from my supervisor, and we talked for about over an hour.

Was tired, now stressed and fully energized. Just got the news, that you're going to be my main competitor. I am going to compete with you till the end. Thanks alot for calling in my clients, I didn't know you copied the contacts.

I hope you have made a wise decision in your career movement. Don't make the choices just because you're afraid to accept people's opinion. You obviously had your chance. I really hope your AWAKE, your eyes wide open!! She is not sponsoring you, yes she invested a huge amount of greens on you and provided you with a apartment and a shop. But realise this, there are strings attached to everything you get for free.

You should understand the consequences of being an employee especially to someone like her. You should have known of the fact on how her domestic servant is treated. You obviously know, how loud and frustrated she gets when she starts complaining.

Come on, seriously?

I'll tell you of my experience during my last summer. I had a appointment, a very important function to attend to on one particular day. She knew I was done with work and was halfway washing my hair in the bathroom.

Yet, she demanded me to attend to her urgent needs? I mean come on!

I was literally drenched with shampoo when I heard a loud bang on the door!!! WTH, I was call to come in straight away. My hair all wet, I hurriedly changed into my work clothes and rushed to the site. When then I found out, that she delibrately wanted to portray her 'Diva' act. As result, I spend 2hours (a quicky) trying to please her every needs. And was unable to attend a very important musical.

I hope you realise soon enough, what is expected from you. For that I wish you all the best in everything you do. Try not to be over-ambitious, stay within reason and limits. Get a guy like him, someone who treats you like a proper human-being, rather than f*ing any stranger who finds you on cyberspace.

Your a nice girl, just needed the right directions.

Take care.
Let the game begin.

Going for maximum impact

Over my past summer, my main mission the for entire summer vacay was to ''frame'' an issue. A preety big issue, as it seems to be. Although conceptually, solving an issue seems preety straight forward, the reality is that most people don't do it well. Well lets just say I was quite naive and thought I ruled the world at 21.

Yet it was a challenge I am prepared to go into battle with. Being the so-called young new manager leading a diversely talented team of 8 can be a problem when one minor issue errupts like a profligate volcano. How it all started?

Let's just say in general, individuals tend to focus on their own particular needs and on matter relating to their specific areas of expertise. In doing so, they may be blinded of the details that actually matter for the responsibilities they were assigned to.

The only way out was by reframing the issue, in hope to instil clarity into complexity.

First, to circumvent the obstacles at hand.

Second, correct the disconnects (in my case the bad apple).

And most importantly, changing the style, change the frame. (everyone has got a style they feel suited to, so order to successfully frame the situation, I've got to learn to adapt to diverse styles of commucation)

I dare not call myself an effective ''framer'' but I guess this special skill can be learned and strengthen with dicipline and effort. However, I dare say the real challenge in this is when your faced with the unexpected. New information and unforeseen circumstances can be quite a sheepsload to deal with.

The greatest lesson I have experienced, is no matter what happens, happens. Embrace and persevere. Keep the purpose and your audience foremost in mind so you can thoughtfully frame a response that furthers your goals — thus strengthens your leadership.

And for that I thank you, to the people who push and guided me through. I am stronger today.

Extreme display of emotion

aahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my mind screams..

Love is in the air, its wonderful to have someone you can rely upon.

I do, I really do.

Its the special tingling sensation that I miss everyday before I dream off into my wonderland.

In another story
-Teamwork what it really means, & being a LEADER, no, not just any leader.

1. ''the feeling of being dependable and having absolute commitment then crying together with joyful tears, tasting the accomplishment for the day''

2. an Effective Leader who places her team's goals first in mind, being able to command the respect from your supposed seniors

Mel (I'm too complicated)

p.s.Mel - I was attracted to u the moment we stepped into the lift, its the countless seconds i miss most
